  • In 2016 heeft Museum de Fundatie  het werk Gewitterfront (Onweersfront) van de Duitse kunstenaar Neo Rauch (Leipzig 1960) verworven. Het museum voegde hiermee een parel van de hedendaagse schilderkunst toe aan zijn collectie. Het Mondriaan Fonds noemt Gewitterfront ‘een cruciale aanwinst voor Museum de Fundatie en de Collectie Nederland’.
