Please note that from 17 to 28 March, there will be refurbishment at the museum. The current exhibitions will be dismantled and the new exhibitions set up. The museum will be closed on 28 March. The museum has limited access during this period. Reduced rates apply. You can only buy tickets at the museum.
Museum de Fundatie and the sculpture garden around Kasteel het Nijenhuis are easily accessible by (electric) wheelchair. The castle itself is not particularly disabled-friendly.
Wheelchairs for loan
Wheelchairs are available for loan at Museum de Fundatie and Kasteel Het Nijenhuis. They can be reserved in advance by phoning + 31 (0)572-388188. Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle provides wheelchair access via its side entrance along Potgietersingel.
Mobility scooters
Due to visitor numbers as well as limited space in some parts of the museum and also for purposes of safeguarding the art collection, mobility scooters are prohibited in our buildings; the museum provides the loan of wheelchairs instead.
Disabled parking
Disabled parking at Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle is available along Potgietersingel (2 places) and at the Blijmarkt (2 places).

Disabled parking is provided at Kasteel Het Nijenhuis at the end of the driveway, close to the castle (2 places).
Free admission for assistants
Assistants are given free admission to the museum at both locations.
Guide dogs
Officially trained guide dogs are welcome at our two locations.
