audire et videre I is a sound sculpture by Michiel Borstlap commissioned by Museum de Fundatie.

Pianist and composer Michiel Borstlap (b. 1966), who enjoys widespread international acclaim, has always followed his heart throughout his thirty year career. In his unique solo concerts the stage becomes a wide canvas on which he depicts a world of beauty, adventure and emotions using sounds. Or in Borstlap’s own words: "I enjoy existing in the shadow between two notes".

Michiel Borstlap's sound sculpture  audire et videre I can be experienced in the atrium, the space which links Museum de Fundatie's floors.
